            Relationship Education is a free service of Amnion which consist of speakers empowering students with a relevant and powerful presentation. We believe that education is vital in the growth process of an individual. And while math and science are important and necessary, relationships are what life is all about.

            The Relationship Education Team approaches the subject of sex and relationships in a sensitive yet realistic way that encourages teens and young adults to think critically about their own decisions. We believe that young people have the right to make choices based on truth, not propaganda. Thus, in a culture that encourages acting upon sexual stimulation without full consideration of the consequences, we exist not to take their choice away…but rather, to give them their choice back

            We want to communicate the truth about sex to the next generation. We want them to know that sex is an amazingly powerful act that has equally powerful consequences - both positive and negative. Most importantly, we want them to know that they have the power to choose for themselves.

            There is much more to educating a young person about sex than simply explaining birth control options or dismissively suggesting abstinence.  We want young people to be fully informed of the many ways their choices regarding sex can impact the rest of their lives.

            Our message is not preachy, religious, or condemning - it's simply a perspective you won't often hear promoted in our popular culture today. Our presentation is made up of concepts and analogies that are relevant to the students. We speak their lingo, we are closer to their age, and we give them our personal life stories for them to relate even more. They are encouraged to ask questions, express concerns or disagreements.
