Services and Support

Moms Group

What:	A bimonthly group with free lunch and childcare.
Who:	Moms or moms-to-be who are interested in getting together with other moms, eating lunch, and then joining in a discussion group while the kids are being babysat in another room!
When:	Second and Fourth Friday of every month 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Where:	Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center, Drexel Hill Location
Why:	To have a place to get together with other adults and have adult conversation and support. Also, because sometimes there really is such a thing as a free lunch!

Childbirth Classes

What:	Individual classes given by a registered nurse.
Who:	Pregnant women and support person(s)
When:	Tuesdays (by appointment) for 4 weeks
Where:	Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center, Drexel Hill Location
Why:	Because it’s good to be prepared!

PACE Group (Post-Abortion Counseling and Education)

What:	Confidential support group for women who have had one or more abortions
Who:	Women of any age who want a safe place to heal from emotional pain that can be experienced at any point after an abortion
When:	New group beginning Thursday, April 17, 2008. Call 610.622.9957 for details.
Where:	Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center in Upper Darby
Why:	Sometimes you just need someone to listen who understands what you're going through

POPPY Group (Parents Of Pregnant and/or Parenting Youth)

What:	Monthly support group for parents of teens who are involved in an unplanned pregnancy
Who:	Parents who feel they need extra support concerning their child's unplanned pregnancy and related issues
When:	The first Wednesday of each month
Where:	Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center in Bryn Mawr, PA
Why:	Sometimes you just need someone to listen who understands what you're going through

Amnion After School

What:	A weekly after school group with great discussion and free food.
Who:	Local teens who are interested in discussing current issues of love, sex, and dating in a confidential environment.
When:	Thursdays 3:15 - 4:15 pm
Where:	Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center, Drexel Hill Location
Why:	To have a place where you can ask questions, share your opinion freely, and be challenged to think on a deeper level.
